We played another traditional game called "Abuku tatta" this morning.
After the Radio Taisou and singing songs, everyone drew a picture of what he/she enjoyed most this week. Counselors wrote a message to his/her camper.
The very last rehearsal for their performances.
Finally our last big event, the field day. We started with a baton relay.
The next race was to catch a snack pack without using hands. It was fun.
Counselors also had fun!
Tug-of-war.
We all enjoyed the cold shaved ice after the field day. It was a little surprising that more people liked Azuki (red bean paste) with condensed milk.
While campers having the shaved ice, parents who arrived a little early to participate in the tug-of-war.
Finally, we all presented the performances.
Dance team, and then Recorder team.
It was pretty amazing that they all learned the performances only in 4 days.
At the end, we performed the dance all together.
Everyone got a goody bag and a ramune drink before leaving.
Thank you so much everyone for coming to O-en camp.
